Voltan Motorsports organised a bake sale supporting humanitarian relief in Sudan, Palestine and Afghanistan.
Palestine was affected by ongoing conflict escalation following October 2023, with continued military operations and instability into 2025. Multiple ceasefire violations led to severe insecurity, and blockades limited essential supplies entering certain areas.
On 31 August 2025, a magnitude 6.0 earthquake affected Kunar Province in eastern Afghanistan, near the Pakistan border, alongside other seismic events in a geologically active zone.
Sudan remained in an ongoing civil war between the Sudanese Armed Forces and Rapid Support Forces, with fighting across Khartoum, Darfur and other regions.
Gaza experienced severe food insecurity from 22 August 2025 to 19 December 2025, with widespread shortages of basic food items. The Afghanistan earthquake caused over 2,200 deaths, severe damage to residential buildings and difficult access for emergency services. Sudan faced severe famine conditions driven by ongoing conflict and food supply disruption, with millions experiencing acute food insecurity.
In alignment with our team values and mission, we organised a bake sale selling halal-certified cookies and refreshments during school hours. Proceeds of 90 USD, approximately 400 MYR, were donated to the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), which was working on disaster relief operations in those areas.
Our donation supported the ICRC’s humanitarian assistance across Sudan, Gaza and Afghanistan, including food, water, medical care, cash assistance, bread access, healthcare, rehabilitation services, clean water access and emergency support.
